STAPLES!!!
This morning Mom was petting me while she had breakfast. She found 2 more staples. I was very, very, very brave. She was as gentle as she could be. She wiggled the staples out with her finger nail, then Dad gave her a pair of pliers. I stood real still and Mom popped those two staples right out. No wonder I kept getting shocked when Mom rubbed and fluffed my fur. Static electricity must like those little buggers.
After I was soooo brave, I got great big hugs from both Mom and Dad. Oh yes, a little biscuit too. I know, I know, I am suppose to lose some weight, but I was soooo brave.

Holy cow, Ted! If my doctor left staples in me, this is what I would expect in return: bacon, bacon and bacon. And I’d get to bite him in the butt, too.

Ted, I imagine that was uncomfortable and the static business had to just make it worse. I don’t think you get to bite the vet in the butt, as Dakota suggested, but I’m with him on the bacon. A little biscuit? Dude, you got shortchanged.

I has so many staples I am not surprised a couple were still in me. The vet did the best he could as some were hiding on him. He took over 50 staples out to begin with. I really like my vet and Mom gave me bigs hugs and kisses. She said she was sorry too. How can I ask for more than that. I just love my Mom and Dad.

Mom will check for more staples when she gets home, I just know she will. She did not like taking them out at all, in fact I heard her say “Whew, glad that is over.” She gets a little queezy on stuff like that. She held it together just for me. I did get to lick Mom’s cereal bowl this morning. I got it all to myself. Izzy was outside watching and listening to the birds, that silly sister of mine.

Ted you’re so brave! I agree with Dakota and Share, you should have asked for more treats:) Rudy says, woo hoo way to go! you’ll be feeling so much better now with out that itchy thing!
Rudy recently went to the Vets because I noticed an area that didn’t seem to be healing all the way. It was on a spot where the skin folds over, so it was hard to see. Lo and behold when we went to the Vets she found a small piece of the stiches still in there! Now Rudy seems way more comfortable and relaxed:)
